Physical Education in Jeffco
The mission of Physical Education (PE) in Jeffco Public Schools is to empower students with the skills, knowledge, habits and confidence to live happy, healthy and physically active lives.
PE is an important, standards-based educational component in grades kindergarten through 12th grade.
Welcome to physical education at Three Creeks K-8!
Class Focus
Specific content covers state standards for grades six through eight. This course involves acquiring knowledge and skills that provide the foundation for sport, a physically active lifestyle and social development through physical activity.
Activities typically include those that increase strength, endurance and flexibility; reinforce safe technique, teach the rules and conventions of games and sports and explore the relationship between physical activity and health.

Make-Up Form
Students who miss a day of class will be required to complete the “Make-up” form located in Google Classroom. Students will be required to submit the form within one week after returning to school.
If submitted on time, students will receive their five points for participation for the day(s) missed. If the “Make-up” form is not completed, the student receives zero points for the day(s) missed.
