School Accountability Committee

What is the SAC?

Every school is required to have an accountability committee, allowing the principal and community to discuss and collaborate on school performance, budget, school structures, staffing, security and any other topics needing community input. 

At Three Creeks K-8, all parents, teachers and community members are welcome to attend SAC meetings. Engaging in budget priority discussions is a key responsibility of accountability committees. Along those lines, Jeffco created this resource to support the engagement of SAC members in discussions related to school-based budgeting. 

To learn more about school culture, assessment data, and other information, families are encouraged to view the Jeffco Public Schools School Insights data tool. In SAC, we use facets of this data to identify successes and areas for improvement.

Meeting Dates

SAC (School Accountability Committee) meetings will be in the evenings. Please find our meeting dates and times below. Agenda and Notes.

  • September 17, 2024 - Discuss School Data, Enrollment and School Goals
  • November 19, 2024 - Discuss Budget and Update on School Data
  • January 21, 2025 - Revisit Budget, discuss Schedules, Calendars and Enrollment
  • March 25, 2025 - Revisit Schedule and Calendar, Student Fees and Attendance
  • May 20, 2025 - Year in Review, Plans for 2025-26

We will meet in the Three Creeks Library from 6:00-7:00pm
